Zebra is Cale Mallard’s first major project, built around his belief that everyone is weird in their own way and should lean into the parts of themselves that make them who they are. The series pushes that philosophy through bold, rebellious work that blends painting, stencil techniques, raw canvas, and mixed media to show the range of his skill and storytelling. The exhibition ran from November 7 to 9, 2025, with a one night opening / warehouse party.

An estimated 300 people attended the launch, filling the space from the moment the doors opened. Two local DJs played exclusive sets. Limited Zebra T-shirts sold out, marking the project’s first and only successful merch drop. The show stands as the foundation of Cale’s evolving practice and the beginning of a much larger body of work, with yearly projects.
